The stack of unfinished books by my bed is starting to stress me out a little. Because I read more than one book at a time, it’s easy for me to begin something and move onto something else without thinking twice about it, leaving a sad trail of unfinished books in my wake. Sometimes, in the night, I’m afraid they will topple over and crush me with the weight of their unread words. Or something metaphorical like that. Or perhaps not metaphorical. We had a bit of an earthquake the other day.
So in November, I’m giving myself a little challenge to finish the stack of unfinished books. Here’s what I’m hoping to get through:
The Word is Bigger Now by Euna Lee – page 49/292
Prayer Walk by Janet Holm McHenry – page 85/176
La Bella Lingua by Dianne Hales – page 142/290
The Stand by Stephen King – page 290/1141 (o_O)
Death and the Dancing Footman by Ngaio Marsh – page 95/307
The Waiting Place by Eileen Button- page 35/227
The Edge of Eternity by Randy Alcorn – page 137/325
Passport Through Darkness by Kimberly L. Smith – page 12/251
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens (audio) – disc 10/15
It’s time to tackle the stack!
Thanks for stopping by! I'm Cori and I'm happy you've found your way here. If you're wondering why my blog is called "Let's Eat Grandpa," it's an old grammar joke: Let's eat, grandpa! Let's eat grandpa! (Punctuation saves lives.)
