I don’t see any “I could totally crush her at WWF.” or “I could ninja her face off., so pride in comparison doesn’t seem to be the issue.

I really don’t think people can be happy (well, joyful in this happy vs joyful nomenclature) in life if they’re not comfortable in their own skin. It takes a long time and I think it’s a constant struggle because we live in a society in which we’re constantly being told we’re not rich enough, attractive enough, successful enough, etc.
