I’ve been sewing a lot, but it feels I have very little to show for it!
Secret Mug Rug Project
A few weeks ago, I held a contest to win a mug rug if you “liked” my new page on Facebook (you can still like it, you just won’t win anything. Except my undying affection and updates in your FB feed). My friend Robert won, and I finished up his fabulous mug rug. Which is way bigger than a mug rug. So he gets a wall hanging instead!
But he hasn’t received it yet and I don’t want to ruin the surprise, so here’s just a sneak peak:
I’ll post the actual project finish once he gets it in the mail!
Boyfriend Quilt
I’ve finally finished quilting this one, and I attached the front of the binding by machine last night. Now comes a lot of hand-sewing – I like the look of a hand-attached binding much more than when its machine finished. Good thing I have a nine-hour drive to and from Portland this weekend – I’ll be able to work on it then!
Accessory Project
I’ve had an idea for making a certain accessory for a while. I don’t want to talk too much about it, since I’m even sure it will work. But I chose some fabric and I’m really pleased with the color combo and the possibilities!

Nice! I especially love the colors on that last one!
Me too! The Heaven and Helsinki line has so many great colors, but I love the ones I’ve pulled.
The colors in the last project are great and so is the stack of yummy fabirc you have.
Isn’t it? I love it all! Buy all the fabric! I don’t need to pay my mortgage, right? o_O
