W.i.P. Wednesday

I had a couple of finishes this week — both my secret mug rug project for Robert and my Boyfriend Quilt are finally done! I bound my BQ while Ryan and I were driving to and from Portland this weekend for a wedding. Can’t believe all that handwork didn’t make me carsick:

I’ll be doing separate posts for both of these finishes in the coming days. I also need to post about my friend’s daughter’s birthday (I planned it and made decorations), but I need to get my photos together for that.

Other than that, I haven’t done all that much. I have two friends who have commissioned me to make wedding decorations  for their upcoming nuptials, including tablecloths, pennants, bean bags, paper flowers, signs, and all sorts of fun stuff. I’m in the beginning planning stages for both. The wonderful Julie over at The Intrepid Thread is going to put together some custom half-yard bundles for me in the colors I need for Amy’s wedding.

But mostly, let’s laugh at this (cry hole, indeed!):
