I’m still writing my Sewing Summit re-cap — hopefully I’ll get it posted tomorrow. So many things happened over the weekend, so expect a fairly long post about it!
Even with Sewing Summit, I’ve had a couple of finishes since my last W.i.P. Wednesday. I finally finished up the tablecloths for my friend Tam’s wedding, but I don’t have pictures — because there was no place big enough to take photos of a 12 x 12 tablecloth! Plus they are kind of boring — just two colors of linen. I also made some pretty paper flowers and did some artwork for her food and drink tables.
I finished my Summer in Seattle pillow (blogged about it yesterday), and a camera strap for my friend Shannon (which I also failed to photograph).
This week, I’m working on one of the projects from Sewing Summit, a mini quilt with curves by The Sometimes Crafter:
I finished the piecing and the hand-quilting. Now I just need to bind it! Expect to see the finish here in a couple days. I have projects from three other classes that I’m hoping to work on as well — my shapes and angles mini quilt, a paper-pieced blog, and my Idea Pouch.
I’m hoping to actually get my Essential Quilting quilt finished soon as well. It’s been on my WiP list for far too long. I also joined the Hoop-La-La swap, which is being hosted by Sew Allegorical (I met her at SS and she is awesome!), so I need to get started on my hoop for my partner.
I think that’s all for now. What are you working on this week?
WIPs:
Hoop-La-La Swap
Shapes and Angles mini quilt
Paper Pieced Block
Idea Pouch
Mini Quilt with Curves
Wedding decorations for Amy
