I love giving handmade because most of the people I give to really appreciate the time & effort that goes into handmade. I love receiving handmade for the same reason. I am trying to shop small and local where possible this year. Big box stores with crap from overseas just doesn’t do it for me for the most part.

  149. I’ve picked up a family homemade gift-giving tradition. I’ve given baked goods for years, but now I’ve inherited my grandfather’s holiday candy tradition. Candy is gifted in handmade fabric bags. Occasionally, I think of gifting other handmade items, but I seem to rarely plan enough in advance for it to happen! Thanks for the giveaway!
