I missed WiP Wednesday last week — that inevitable January crash after the holidays had me staring off into space a bit, so I haven’t spent much of the new year sewing. I had a few things I wanted to get done this weekend, but instead I spent time wine tasting in Napa with friends, watching half a season of The Newsroom with Ryan, and puppy-sitting. Not a bad weekend, if I do say so myself.
Still, I finished up a couple of cute grocery tote bags, which are going in the mail to their new homes soon (happy belated Christmas Hillary and Julia!). I’ll blog them later this week once I have taken proper pictures. And, of course, I had to include a photo of the aforementioned adorable pup, Maggie.
I’m going to try and keep better track of my WiPs this year, making a real attempt to finish everything I start. If I see something languishing on the to-do list for too long, I hope to at least pull it out and work a little on it — I’m just not a fan of my WiPs gathering dust! (Literally.)

* Goals for this week
W.i.P. (Work in Progress) Wednesday can be found over at Freshly Pieced!

Ooh, I like the “next steps” – nothing like writing down what you actually have to do to make progress on something!
I know! I find it very motivating to have small goals within the larger goals. That way, I feel like I’m making progress, even if I don’t finish something entirely.
